Our massage clinic offers a wide range of massage therapies that will suit all your needs and requirements:

Swedish Massage- The Swedish massage therapy is designed to relax the whole body. This technique involves rubbing and massaging the muscles with strokes that are long and are in the direction of blood flow. Swedish massage therapy increases the oxygen level in blood. It also decreases toxins in muscles and improves flexibility of the body as well as circulation of blood while it relaxes the body.

Deep Tissue- A massage therapy that is focused on more than just external relaxation is our deep tissue massage therapy. This therapy is aimed towards healing much deeper layers of muscles as well as connective tissue. Deep tissue massage therapy is especially vital for very tense as well as contracted areas like upper and lower back tightness, stiff necks or sore shoulders.

Prenatal Massage- There are several undesirable conditions that take place during pregnancy due to changes in levels of hormones like back pains, stress on joints that bear weight, edema, anxiety, depression and leg cramps etc. An effective solution to reduce and ease all these undesirable pains and stress is a prenatal massage during pregnancy. This massage therapy ensures proper lymph circulation as well as blood flow accounting for an overall wellness for body.

Cupping Massage- The underlying tissue is drawn up into the cup forming an area of blood stasis. This appears to bruise the area, or turn it a bright or dark red depending on the degree of stagnation and the amount of toxins in the blood. Cupping is able to draw blood from as much as four inches below the skin’s surface to recirculate fresh blood and bring old blood to the surface to be cleaned by the lymphatic system. Cupping will help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation, well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

Indian Head Massage- This massage has a number of advantages and is a cure for a number of problems. It decreases headache due to tension, stress or migraine, increases blood flow which makes the person active, alleviates earaches, jaw ache, tinnitus, sinusitis congestion, disturbed sleep or insomnia.

The musculoskeletal system supports your weight, provides physical stability, enables you to move your body and protects your vital organs. Chiropractors practice primarily using their hands, providing diagnosis, treatment and preventative care for disorders related to the spine, pelvis, nervous system and joints. They manipulate the body’s alignment to relieve pain and improve function and to help the body heal itself.

As a holistic and alternative treatment approach, chiropractic adjustments can reduce stress placed on your immune system, freeing up energy to be used towards disease prevention and maintaining homeostasis. Chiropractic care aims to address the whole body, enhancing patient’s ability to think, move and perform.

Manual Osteopathy is a holistic, non-invasive, and drug-free form of hands-on therapy. The primary focus is the musculoskeletal system (muscles, fascia, ligaments and joints), organs, and the central nervous system. Instead of focusing solely on the problem area, Manual Osteopaths treat the root cause of pain. Typical treatments focus on the joints, muscle, and spine with the end goal of treating the body’s nervous, circulatory, and lymphatic systems. They also return balance to the musculoskeletal, cranial, cardiovascular, visceral and neurological systems of the body.

The principle that is followed is that needles are put into particular points in the body along the meridians. This method will then re-balance energy flow in the body.

The acupuncturist will stimulate accurate points along the skin of the body using ultra-thin needles to release stress and decrease pain. You may experience a sense of relaxation during your treatment or minimal discomfort due to feelings of heat, aching or heaviness around where the needle was inserted.

Brazilian lymphatic drainage massage is a specialized type of massage therapy that focuses on stimulating the lymphatic system to promote the removal of excess fluid and toxins from the body.

This type of massage is commonly used to address conditions such as lymphedema (a condition where lymphatic fluid accumulates in the tissues), cellulite, general fluid retention and after plastic surgery or other surgical procedures. It can also be used for relaxation and stress relief.

The massage therapist uses gentle, rhythmic, and circular motions with their hands, fingers, or specialized tools to stimulate the lymphatic vessels just beneath the skin's surface. The strokes are typically very light to avoid causing discomfort or bruising.

A series of sessions is usually recommended to achieve optimal results, and the number of sessions required can vary depending on the individual's needs and goals.

Ali Reza Khadem Haghighi, also known as “Ali Haghighi”, is both a Registered Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and a Registered Trigenics Practitioner. Ali is proud to be The Chair of Inquiries, Complaints and Reports (ICR) at the College of Registered Manual Osteopaths. He is also a member of the Osteopathy Chronic Pain Clinics of Canada.

Ali started his professional medical career with Massage Therapy in 2011 at the Wellspring College of Massage Therapy and Alternative Medicine. In 2012 he then began to study for an Osteopathy and Acupuncture Diploma as well. Ali quickly fell in love with the Osteopathic Treatment, as he saw first-hand the power it has to change people’s lives in such a positive way. To further improve his knowledge and experience, Ali continued to study in this field and in 2017 he graduated as a DOMP from the National Academy of Osteopathy (NAO). He once again continued to study in the B.SC (Ost) and Doctor of Osteopathy program at the National University of Medical Sciences of Spain. In 2020, Ali received his Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) Degree and most recently in 2023, his Doctor of Naprapathy (DN).

Ali’s practice focuses on the core philosophy of Osteopathy by treating the structural and functional imbalances in the body that may commonly present as pain and/or discomfort. His primary interests include the treatment of functional acute and chronic pain disorders.

Why does Ali love and believe in Osteopathy so much? Because Osteopathy is a professional and unique system of manual hands-on therapy which is gentle, safe and effective. This is a holistic and drug free therapy, which primarily focuses on the treatment of the musculoskeletal system (muscles, joints, fascia, and ligaments), the central nervous system, and the organs of the body. These unique concepts of Osteopathy are significant. As a result, it is quickly becoming one of most popular treatment options for pain relief and management.

Ali uses a variety of techniques in his treatments including Muscle Energy Techniques, Mobilization, Cranial Osteopathy, Soft Tissue Therapy Techniques, Visceral Manipulation Techniques, Myofascial Release, and Exercise Prescription. A combination of these will not only ease pain but will also help improve the function and alignment of the various tissues of the body (organs, muscles, bones, ligaments, circulatory/nervous system, general health).

He believes that given the right conditions and tools, the body has an amazing ability to heal itself. The role of the Osteopathic Practitioner is to perfect the art of listening to the body and to support it where it is trying hardest to correct itself. Ali’s goal is to give his clients relief as quick and efficient as possible.

What is your body trying to tell you? Are you able to dig deep and listen, respond and nurture yourself accordingly?

I am here to listen and empower you on your wellness journey. I love helping people look and feel their best!

Hi, my name is Leena Kim and I became a Naturopathic Doctor in 2003 after completing the 4-year program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. My passion is to assist individuals to thrive on their path to optimal health. I have a special interest in women’s health, digestive issues, mental/emotional well-being, acute or chronic pain, and autoimmune conditions.

I always knew I wanted to help people and make a meaningful difference. However, it wasn’t until I struggled with my own immune system and adverse reactions to medications as a young adult, that I sought alternative healing methods. When I discovered naturopathic medicine and its effectiveness, I felt like a brand-new person. With the newfound nutritional and lifestyle modifications, I no longer suffered from debilitating seasonal allergies, bloating, constipation, abnormal joint pain, and swelling. I successfully managed my health and identified triggers for the first time. This is when I decided to learn as much as I could in order to help people professionally. Especially those seeking natural healing methods using clinically proven, safe, and effective practices. I look forward to helping you become your best self!
